Sheriff searching for missing teen

UNION COUNTY — The Union County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a runaway teenager

Sgt. Randall Gilbert said deputies are trying to find 16-year-old Angelica Marquez, who left her home on foot, on the evening of Aug. 2. Deputies said it is possible that the teen is attempting to travel to the Little Rock area and she also has relatives in the Arlington, Texas, area.

Marquez was last seen wearing blue skinny jeans and a black shirt. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair.

Gilbert said he has talked with friends and relatives of the missing teen and the search is continuing.

If anyone has information regarding her location, contact Gilbert at 870-864-1981 during normal business hours, or call the Union County Sheriff’s dispatch at 870-864-1990 after hours and ask for Gilbert.
