To the Editor:

For the 22nd consecutive year, the Nexans AmerCable Kiwanis Golf Classic has served as a primary fundraiser for the El Dorado Kiwanis Club. During this time, the tournament has raised over $100,000 for youth services in the El Dorado area and all money raised has been returned to the community for our youth.

The Kiwanis Club provides support assistance to various youth organizations including the El Dorado Public Schools – Elementary Focus Schools, the El Dorado Boys and Girls Clubs, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Odyssey of the Mind, Special Olympics, Boy Scouts of America and many other organizations.
